IT hackaton for epilepsy

Yesterday, the pharma company UCB organized a simultaneous gathering of IT professionals, a hackaton, in Brussels and Atlanta, to find new digital solutions to help epilepsy patients. In Brussels, about 70 IT-developers, designers, creatives, doctors and patients attended the hackaton. Epilepsy affects 65 million people worldwide, with about 60.000 patients in Belgium. The proposal for the best digital tool will be rewarded with 6.000 euro.
